How to Activate TNT SIM
TNT is a top phone service in the Philippines, and lots of people want to know how to start using its SIM card. It’s super popular because it has a big network and cheap prices. What’s cool is that TNT gives you lots of options for calls, texts, data, and other packages without limiting you. But to enjoy any of that, you need to learn how to activate the TNT SIM. And that’s where we can help!
Before you start,
TNT has different plans, but activating them might need specific codes. Even though the SIM card types (like prepaid or postpaid) stay the same, the code for each plan could be different. So, the general steps we give might not always work for specific plans.
Here’s what you can do:
- Go to the TNT website (https://tntph.com/) and look in the sections named Products, Promos, or Rewards. You can find your plan’s name and the code to activate it there.
- Look in your email inbox for a message from TNT.
- Carefully check the 3-in-1 SIM card package you got to see if there’s a code printed on it.
These steps might help you find the right code to activate your plan.

1. Enable cellular data
Here’s a quick way to activate your SIM:
- Turn on mobile data on your phone by swiping down from the top and tapping on the mobile data icon. Or, find the mobile data icon on your home screen and tap it.
- Then, go to the official TNT website (https://tntph.com/) using the same phone.
- Soon, you should receive a message saying, “Welcome to TNT!” It means your SIM card is activated. If not, the message will tell you which code to use, which should be the same as the one we suggest.
2. Activate TNT SIM card via a USSD code
After putting in your SIM card, try this easy code to check your balance:
- Dial *123# and call.
- Choose Balance/Services from the options.
- Check the balance.
- If everything’s okay, you’ll see your balance and a message like “Welcome to TNT!”
- Turn on mobile data to get internet settings (APN). Try making calls and sending texts to see if your SIM card is really activated.
3. Text TNT to finish SIM card activation
A simple way is to send a text to a specific TNT phone number. You’ll get a text back telling you about your balance. This also tells the carrier that your SIM is ready to use. Here’s how to activate your TNT SIM using their network coverage:
3G/4G LTE
Put the SIM card in your phone and turn it on. Then, send a message with the word “BAL” to 214, or? 15001 to 214. You’ll get a message back saying your activation was successful. If that doesn’t work, try sending another message saying “UROWN” to 4545. Check to see if this worked.
If it didn’t work, maybe the plan you picked needs an extra thing, like a temporary free offer. For example, some people got it to work by texting “FBFREE” to 4545 for 15 days of free Facebook data. Either way, you should get that welcome message we talked about earlier.
5G LTE
Smart is a company in the Philippines that offers really fast 5G internet in lots of places. TNT is connected to Smart, so people can buy a 5G SIM card for TNT at a low price. If you have one and haven’t activated it yet, follow these steps:
- Put the SIM card in the right place on your phone. Turn your phone on.
- Even if you don’t see any signal, you’ll get a text from the number 3723.
- They’ll ask you something in the text. You’ve got two minutes to reply.
- If you don’t reply in time, you’ll get two more texts:
- One from 3723 is asking for your mobile number to upgrade your SIM.
- Another person from Smart said they didn’t get your number and are asking you to try again or call 888 for help.
- Wait until you get a text confirming your SIM is activated.
- Restart your phone, and you’re all set to use your TNT SIM card.
4. Activate TNT SIM card through Customer Service
One way to start using your SIM card is by going to the closest Smart or TNT Store. Another option is to contact TNT Customer Support by:
- Calling: Dialing *888 connects you with experts at Smart. If you don’t have a secondary TNT SIM or only have a landline, call (02)8888-1111.
- Social media: Find TNT on Facebook (@TNTph), Twitter, and Instagram (@tntph).
- Sign in or download the app. Log in on the TNT website or use their GigaLife apps for Android and iOS.
